AFTER spending six months off the air Miss SA Second Princess Buyi Shongwe has her radio grooves back.
Shongwe returns to Mpumalanga's independent MpowerFM radio station, which she left in January after coming second in the beauty pageant.
MpowerFM managing director Kevin Savage announced this last week.
Savage has established an additional studio for the station in the provincial economic capital of eMalahleni (Witbank).
The new studio is integrated with the revamped The Ridge Casino, with the public having visual access to the state-of-the-art facility. This is geared to encouraging interaction with the listeners.
The station is consolidating its arrival in eMalahleni with an additional brand partnership with the neighbouring Highveld Mall.
"The Ridge Casino is keyed up for the mutually beneficial partnership that has been established with MpowerFM, " says Sizwe Jantjie, the station's publicist.
"Other on-air competitions to further empower the community include MPowerFM-Vodacom Top Jock Search that kicks off today."
