SABC staffers have resolved "not to hold further meetings" with management and are threatening to strike.
Communication Workers Union chairperson Tommy Morudu said yesterday all unions represented at the SABC, except the Broadcast, Electronic, Media and Allied Workers Union, have confirmed their willingness to strike.
The unions say management had promised an increase 9,75 percent or 9,25 percent but then it reverted back to 8,5 percent - saying that it could not afford to pay more. - Itumeleng Tau
