SWINE flu continues to spread across the country. About 18 new cases have been confirmed, bringing the total number to 93 in one month.

The National Institute for Communicable Diseases, which is monitoring the deadly H1N1 influenza, said it would stop recording cases once the number reaches 100.

The majority of swine flu cases, 59, have been reported in Gauteng followed by Eastern Cape and Western Cape each reporting 12 cases. Limpopo is the only province that has not been affected. - Zinhle Mapumulo
