AFTER three years the National Arts Council has a CEO - Annabel Lebethe.
The announcement by NAC chairperson Brenda Madumise yesterday was welcomec by the arts community.
The NAC is responsible for developing arts and culture. Chief operating officer Goodwin Mnisi has been acting as CEO since Selan Naidoo resigned in 2006.
The appointment of Lebethe comes weeks before the NAC hosts the Arts and Culture Summit in September.
