Meanwhile, Eastern Cape fighter Simphiwe "V12" Vetyeka vowed to do better than former stablemate Silence Mabuza when he takes on Filipino fighter Eric Barcelona for the vacant IBO bantamweight belt.
Mabuza secured a unanimous points victory over Barcelona in 2004.
The main attraction pits two elephants against each other, when Phillip "Time Bomb" Ndou takes on Lovemore "The Black Panther" Ndou (no relation) for the IBO welterweight title. Phillip shot his mouth off while a cool-headed Lovemore pointed out that Phillip's trash-talking merely revealed his fear of their coming bout.
Berman believes that this event, sponsored by Gree Air Conditioners, will be one of the biggest in South African boxing history.
