I FOUND Simon Nare's comments about Ernest Pillay offensive because he is one of my favourite radio presenters and there is no way the music he plays can be called American junk.
Please listen to his show on Saturdays and Sundays called The Good Life, where he plays local and international music. Being a South African does not mean you have to love jazz or kwaito. I don't like jazz but I love other genres.
I wouldn't mind if Radio 2000 left Smokey on Soul Therapy and moved Kgomotso KG Moeketsi to another slot. Don't get me wrong, she is one of the best radio presenters but I am not sold on her style. I'd rather listen to good music than KG doing the talking.
