THEY are so bowled over by South Africa that Nollywood big shot actors Osita Ihembe, aka as Paw Paw, and Chinedu Ikedieze, aka Aki, pictured left and right, are planning to shoot a movie here.

The duo has been in the country since last month for a seven-day show titled Laugh Unlimited organised by a South African-based Nigerian company.

The show is said to have been a huge success. They wowed audiences and now there is talk that the petite entertainers are planning to shoot a movie in this country.

While in the country they made a deal with AG Cellular to become ambassadors for the product.

It is not known when they will be leaving but they are said to be coming back for the launch of AG cellular at the beginning of September.

Their South African manager, known only as Chico, didn't want to reveal much when contacted by Sowetan.

But he confirmed that plans are afoot for the movie.

"Yes there are plans in the pipeline," Chico said. It is going to happen soon. Of course the movie will include South African actors but no one has been contacted yet."

The dainty comedians have amassed a huge following in the country since the arrival of Nigerian movies to these shores.

Aki and Paw Paw's marriage with AG Cellular was officially announced at a lavish press conference in Melrose Arch on Thursday night.

The cellphone range will be available in South Africa and various African countries from September.
