THE Kenya Electricity Generating Company will spend at least R110million to develop 5,1 megawatts of electricity from windmills, the firm said yesterday.

THE Kenya Electricity Generating Company will spend at least R110million to develop 5,1 megawatts of electricity from windmills, the firm said yesterday.

The project is financed with a 10 million euro loan from Belgium and KenGen's own resources. It will be redy by September.

"Four turbines have been erected so far and are ready for commissioning," KenGen said. - Reuters
