First aired on July 9 2007, the soapie, which is produced by Curious Pictures, has seen tremendous growth over the past two years, breaking the e.tv soapie viewership records with 14,5 ARs, the equivalent of 3,5million viewers.
It continues to provide compelling viewing every weekday at 6.30pm.
While many people were sceptical as to whether the soapie would make it where Backstage, its predecessor, had failed, it has actually thrived, competing well with Isidingo, which is in the same time slot.
