Heavy machines up for grabs

AUCOR's next industrial machinery auction promises to produce spectacular results.

Coming under the hammer is a magnificent array of engineering equipment as a result of the liquidation of SCW Engineering.

On instruction from the liquidators and bank repossession managers, Aucor will sell outright, without reserve, CNC vertical machine centres, laser cutters and lathes, Seguro press brakes and guillotines, hydraulic pyramid rollers and a host of late model engineering tools in excellent condition.

"We expect an excellent response to this auction," Matthew Henderson, chief of Aucor's engineering, said.

"The equipment is exceptional and everything must be sold," he said, adding that ancillary equipment such as forklifts, crane trucks, LDV's and even three 400 X 600 jaw crushers will be offered without reserve.

Several excellent quality woodworking machines including a Weinig 4-head moulder, panel saws, edge banders and a host of other excellent machines form part of the sale.

For those in the plastics industry an excellent (05) 160T Jetmaster, (05) 160T HMS injection moulder and recycling plant repossessed by the bank will be on the sale.

"Added to this are 10 site offices and a range of generators," Henderson said.

The auction takes place on Tuesday at 10.30am at 562 15th Road, Midrand. Viewing takes place on Monday from 9am to 4pm or by appointment.
