where the boys are!

AS YOU know we do anything to get a whiff of boys, so off we went to the SA Cricket Awards Dinner, which was to pay tribute to players, officials and a whole lot of other folk who contribute to the success of cricket in SA.

We read that on the programme since we were not sure why we were there - we normally just follow the sound of men.

Unathi Nkayi and Gareth Cliff were the hottest MCs and, wow, I must say maybe Bad Boy T does not have to work since Nkayi is working left, right and centre.

Nkayi looked glorious in beige and we must agree, though nobody will ever marry us, that she was a fantastic MC with Cliff, who always has us in stitches.

Makhaya Ntini was his usual warm self and we watched him show his respect for all who were there.

It was great to see that Elana Afrika's magician boyfriend - or lover - is still with her. Good girl, darling. Please give us the secrets of how to keep a man. Oh, you too, Edith, you and your new husband are a lovely-looking couple. But then a party is no party without great food.

Folks when we get fat please blame it on the SA Cricket Awards Dinner. They served us lamb, chocolate Swiss rolls and other delicacies we managed to stuff into our purses.
