DRUG dealers on the Cape Flats used bolt-holes in a block of flats to escape a police raid, Western Cape police commissioner Mzwandile Petros said yesterday.

DRUG dealers on the Cape Flats used bolt-holes in a block of flats to escape a police raid, Western Cape police commissioner Mzwandile Petros said yesterday.

Petros said police recently went to the third floor of a block of flats in Hanover Park, from where crime intelligence had confirmed drug dealers were operating.

When the police forced the door open there was no one inside.

"When we moved the cupboard, it was actually the door into the next flat," Petros said. - Sapa
