DON'T judge a book by its cover. That is the lesson learnt when you encounter Martinique Fasser, who starred in rapper Ludacris' Pimpin All Over The World video and John Legend's Heaven Only knows.

DON'T judge a book by its cover. That is the lesson learnt when you encounter Martinique Fasser, who starred in rapper Ludacris' Pimpin All Over The World video and John Legend's Heaven Only knows.

She also starred in Craig David's Hot Stuff', Nigerian rapper Naeto C and local DJ Sbu's music video.

Globetrotting and meeting A-list celebrities has not impressed the model much.

"I'm doing my third year of a five-year corporate law degree," she says. "Working in the entertainment industry is fine for now but my long- term plan is to have my own corporate law firm."

Today she applies her legal skills to judging moisturisers.

The first she tries is Johnson's Healthy Skin Fair Complexion. "It has a beautiful smell. It feels very rich and moisturising and I like that it has SPF 15."

The second moisturiser is Yardley's Skin Even Moisturiser. "I don't like the fact that it oozes out when I open it. This type of packaging is nice and compact so it's perfect for your handbag - but I can do without the oozing.

The moisturiser is too greasy, though."

The third contender is Garnier's Even and Matte. "This one smells fresh but it feels as if my hands are going to be dry again soon - it doesn't feel long-lasting."

The fourth moisturiser from Neutrogena immediately impresses her with its packaging. "This bottle is great. It's so much easier to pump the cream out than to squeeze it out.

"With a pump you won't get too much moisturiser coming out. I love that it's fragrance free. It has quite a bit of moisture, though it's oil free - and that's great."

The last moisturiser is the Nivea Visage Naturally Even, Light Daily Moisturiser. "I usually use Nivea on my body but this particular moisturiser doesn't have enough moisture in it."

After rubbing her hands and arms trying to feel out which is the best moisturiser, Martinique declares that Neutrogena's Oil Free Moisture is the best.
