We disagree with the SABC that his job as anchor should not be more than that of a master of ceremonies at a high school debate. Some knowledge and opinion of the subject matter should be a prerequisite for anyone who anchors any sports show.
There might have been reason to suspend or fire the guy, but to do so for expressing an opinion is not only silly, it is scary.
