HELP is pouring in for twin sisters Bongiwe and Bongekile Mthembu, of rural Ohlalwini area in Jozini on the outskirts of Zululand.

This is after their condition that they have deformed feet and hands was reported in Sowetan yesterday.

Each foot has seven toes and each hand has six fingers, which has made their lives a living hell as they had never worn shoes their entire lives.

The 15-year-old twins begged for help from anyone who could help them.

Business leaders and the public have pledged their support for the twins .

One of the first to come on board to help the sisters is KwaZulu-Natal Premier Zweli Mkhize.

Mkhize, a doctor, said the condition referred to as the polydactyl cat deformity required a simple medical procedure.

He promised to speed up the medical process to make sure the twin girls have an operation.

Other people who offered to help were from manufacturing companies in Johannesburg, who pledged to make shoes and buy school uniforms.

Other Good Samaritans promised to raise funds for the children so that they can survive.
