Born on June 8 1989, he was the eldest of five sons of Thembinkosi Moses and Morongoa Buthelezi. He started school at Northcliff Primary in Johannesburg . In 1998, he was chosen top soccer player .
When his father, a doctor, relocated to Nelspruit, he went to Preparatory School and to Uplands College where he matriculated in 2007. He excelled in athletics, soccer, rugby and hockey. At college, he played and excelled at squash.
Zwelethu enrolled for a Bachelor of Commerce degree at Midrand Graduate Institute . He met his untimely death just after his 20th birthday.
Tonight, a night vigil will be held at 888 Du Bloon Avenue, Wilgeheuwel, Roodepoort. At 7am tomorrow a service will be held at Christ the King Roman Catholic Church in Orlando East, Soweto. He will be buried at Westpark Cemetery.
