JOMO Cosmos has reinforced the squad by signing Katlego Locke and Koena Mathopa in their concerted effort to boost Ezenkosi for the next season.

General manager Andrew Rabutla believes that the presence of Locke, a right winger from Thanda Royal Zulu, and Mathopa from Santos, would bring stability.

"Next season we will be playing close to six matches a month, something that needs a very strong team. It will be interesting to see the competition between Locke and Lazarus Kaimbi for the right wing position," said Rabutla yesterday.

"We will start with our pre-season training next week."

Elsewhere, David Thidiela, owner of National First Division side Black Leopards, is confident that his new technical team of coach Mario Marinica from Romania and assistant coach Innocent Mayoyo will bear fruits.

"This is an indication that we are building a strong team to contest for promotion next season. I am confident that they will assist us to accomplish our mission to return to the lucrative Absa Premiership next season," Thidiela said yesterday.
