BEIRUT - Lebanon's Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah said Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu's latest speech has ruled out the possibility of a settlement in the Middle East.

BEIRUT - Lebanon's Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah said Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu's latest speech has ruled out the possibility of a settlement in the Middle East.

Netanyahu on Sunday endorsed for the first time the creation of a Palestinian state, provided it was demilitarised, after weeks of US pressure.

The speech "shattered all that [Arab] moderates have accomplished thus far and closed the door" to a deal, Nasrallah said on Monday. - Sapa-AFP
