ALMOST the entire leadership of the Police Prisons and Civil Rights Union at the Baviaanspoort Correctional Centre in Pretoria, have been suspended for allegedly intimidating and inciting fellow workers.

ALMOST the entire leadership of the Police Prisons and Civil Rights Union at the Baviaanspoort Correctional Centre in Pretoria, have been suspended for allegedly intimidating and inciting fellow workers.

Between 12 and 15 executive members and shop stewards out of 17 leaders were served with suspensions on Friday after allegedly inciting and intimidating to her officials to boycott a Youth Prayer.

Gauteng correctional services regional commission prison employees boycotted the event to celebrate youth month addressed by the regional commissioner and wife of former correctional services minister Ngconde Balfour, Thozama Nqobi-Balfour.
