BUSINESSMAN and lawyer Boitumelo Gideon Mape has died after a battle with a blood disorder.

BUSINESSMAN and lawyer Boitumelo Gideon Mape has died after a battle with a blood disorder.

Mape was born in 1966 at Magokgwane, Ramatlabama, near Mafikeng in North West. He graduated from Wits University and worked as a conveyancer and developer.

He was the company secretary for New Africa Investments and the North West Housing Corporation. He was also a member of the North West Parks Board and CEO of Union Alliance.

He was legal and technical adviser for Liberty Life and managing director of Revivo Investments, a distributor of frozen foods.

He is survived by his parents, five sisters and children.

He will be buried at his ancestral home in Magokgwane on Saturday at 7am.
