Zuma has a difficult task

PRESIDENT Jacob Zuma has a mammoth task on his hands if he wants to pull off what the ANC has promised in the elections.

PRESIDENT Jacob Zuma has a mammoth task on his hands if he wants to pull off what the ANC has promised in the elections.

With no money to really do what the ANC policy-makers had envisaged, the government has no other option but to go out and try to borrow essential funds or pray that the 2010 World Cup will bring in the much-expected investment.

It seems the trend is continuing. I was always of the opinion that things can't stay the same about apartheid.

The longer white people held on to power the poorer they got, so to save themselves from poverty they had to hand over what was left, and this is what black people got . an empty calabash.

Because as we speak whites still live off the wealth they created in apartheid South Africa.

It seems that the present politicians see this as something good. Since they are continuing the trend set by the apartheid rulers.

They have just joined the process of emptying the cookie jar, and handing it to the next person.

National health insurance is a case in point.

It is not surprising that the alliance partners have asked Zuma to stay on for two terms, because we are all aware that no one in their right mind would be able to right the wrongs of the previous administration in only five years.

Zuma and his friends had better make every attempt to make good on the hundreds of promises. The people are getting restless. They are tired of waiting.
