ELECTIONS have come and gone and now the electorate is expecting results from those they voted in.

ELECTIONS have come and gone and now the electorate is expecting results from those they voted in.

On the face of it all, good governance and better service delivery can be achieved only if we work as a team with a common purpose and shared values, which are more likely to succeed rather than a divided house or a broken partnership.

Issues of priority should be given preference in all the provinces to achieve efficient, and at the same time, accelerated service delivery.

Politics along colour lines should be discarded and constructive opposition parties should play a role to improve our country.

Corruption should have no place and people ought to be patriotic because we owe it all to the country and the mainly poor majority in rural areas.

It is high time that white and black people forge a formidable foundation for current and future generations and stop pointing fingers at each other.

This harmonious rhythm can only be accomplished if we all come on board to work together in pursuance of an elegant melody.

We must bear in mind that this country can only flourish if we are all prepared to strive to serve with pride, with our little contribution to our different communities.

Let us all join hands as citizens of this wonderful country to prove that the little we have achieved thus far was out of the goodness inherent in us, because we know that evil can only prevail when good people do nothing.
