SOUTH Africans and foreign nationals have been afforded the opportunity to attend training sessions of the Confederations Cup participating teams.

Organising committee's spokesperson Rich Mkhondo said: "These sessions will be free, but a ticketing system will be in place to manage the numbers inside the stadiums for security reasons."

In terms of the rules of the tournament, each of the eight countries are required to make one training open to the public.

The first public training session will take place at Royal Bafokeng Stadium in Phokeng today where Fernando Torres and his compatriots from Spain will be seen in action.

In Tshwane, America will be at the Pilditch Stadium at 4pm.

Tomorrow, Bafana Bafana will be at Orlando Stadium in Soweto at 10am.

The organising committee has received 16000 ticket requests from people who want to watch Brazil's session at Seisa Ramabodu Stadium tomorrow at 4.15pm.
