New-look SA U-20 squad to face Italy

SOUTH African Under-20 coach Eric Sauls has made eight changes for today's International Rugby Board Junior World Championships game against Italy in Japan in order to give other players a run.

The squad that will feature in the second round of the Group C division against Italy today 8pm (South African time) was announced yesterday.

Sauls' charges started their campaign in the championships with a resounding 36-10 victory over Fiji in a lop-sided game at the weekend.

Centre Nicolaas Hanekom, the Western Province Under-20 utility player Nicolaas Hanekom comes in for Johan Sadie. He will partner skipper Robert Ebersohn.

The South African side also boasts a new half-back combination of Lionel Cronje and Ross Cronje making the starting lineup.
