Sowetan should have told readers of price hike

I AM disappointed by your editor not telling readers about Sowetan's40-cent price increase. He should have acted professionally and informed readers so we could prepare for it.

I know there is a recession but a notice would have saved me the embarrassment at the robot where I buy my daily Sowetan. I only had R3,50 and had to search for coins everywhere.

This updated, informative and educational newspaper always tells us when the petrol price goes up, so why was the price of this paper increased without notifying its readers?

I was expecting an apology yesterday or today. But nothing.
