RECIFE - Brazilian search teams yesterday recovered three more bodies from an Air France flight that crashed in the Atlantic last week and were working to grab others spotted, military officials said.

The finds follow the recovery on Saturday of the first two bodies from Air France flight AF 447, which came down on June 1 with 228 people on board. The plane left from Rio de Janeiro for Paris a week ago, on May 31.

"Three other bodies were locatedand are being transferred to the frigate Consititucao," a navy spokesperson Captain Gilselmar Tabosa said.

"Other bodies are being spotted by ships in the area, 1000km off Brazil's coast, Tabosa said, saying they should be recovered soon. - Sapa-AFP
