MY BOYFRIEND and I have been together for six months and are so in love.

The problem I have is with this one friend. She liked him before I did and I think she still does. She has made friends with his family and is always asking me questions about him.

He is not interested in her at all. We are part of a big crowd of friends so we bump into her all the time.

She makes such a fuss about him it is embarrassing. I don't know whether I should just leave her be or whether I should speak to her about this. What do you think?

I don't think this girl is your friend at all.

It would probably be a relief if you lost her as a friend.

Discuss this with your boyfriend and tell him that she makes you uncomfortable.

If she contacts you don't take her calls and try to avoid her until she eventually loses interest.

If you are in a crowd talk to other friends and leave her alone.

She really is not worth worrying about any longer and eventually she will get the message.

And your boyfriend should also let her know that he is no longer interested in her and that their relationship is at an end.
