POPULAR Soweto woman golfer and social butterfly Gwen Ntsibande has died. The 52-year-old succumbed last week to a long illness.
Ntsibande was well- known as an activist in the community. At the time of her death, she was chairperson of the women's forum in Greater Soweto North. She also held a prominent position in the Pimville Golf Association.
Ntsibande will be buried tomorrow at West Park Cemetery. The funeral service will be held at St Francis of Assisi Church in Rockville.
