A 19-YEAR-OLD man accused of killing a Northern Cape farmer will appear in the Kimberley magistrate's court today, police said.

A 19-YEAR-OLD man accused of killing a Northern Cape farmer will appear in the Kimberley magistrate's court today, police said.

The suspect was arrested in Mokopane, Limpopo, on Thursday.

"We found the deceased's cellphone and SIM card with the suspect. Other stolen items were also recovered," said Captain Tony Modise yesterday.

Farmer Elias Khari Sehularo, 81, was found dead at his Roodepan farm on May 15.

He had a slash wound to the head. Police suspect the teenager, who was employed by Sehularo, to be behind the murder. - Sapa
