TOP South African long jumper Khotso Mokoena continued his scintillating form by winning a meeting in Kalamata, Greece, on Saturday night.

Mokoena won the EAA track and field meeting with a jump of 8,33m.

In his fifth attempt, Mokoena jumped a massive 8,48m, but the jump was disallowed by the technical officials despite a lengthy protest from the lanky athlete's camp.

Last week, Mokoena won a silver medal at an international meet in Rabat, Morocco.

Mokoena, who could not be reached for comment, is going to Berlin for the Golden League meeting on June 14.

He told Sowetan last week that his main objective for this year is to win gold at the World Championships in Berlin in August.
