AFTER finishing ninth out of 40 countries at the Danone Nations international tournament in France last year, Bree Primary School are now keen to improve their position.

AFTER finishing ninth out of 40 countries at the Danone Nations international tournament in France last year, Bree Primary School are now keen to improve their position.

The school, has once again qualified for the international event after winning the national tournament in Soweto on Saturday. The tournament will be held in Brazil in October.

Bree beat Dorothy Langa of Limpopo 4-3 on penalties at Meadowlands Stadium on Saturday.

South African Football Schools Association, the custodians of schools' competitions, yesterday congratulated the popular institution.

"We are proud of them and I think they will make us proud in Brazil," Themba Tshabalala, Safsa's competition director, said yesterday.
