"We owe it to Steven. He will be playing in a big match tomorrow," said Gladys, better known as "Mama Ajax" because of her love for the Urban Warriors.

"There will be a big screen so that more people will be able to watch the game. Entertainment will also be galore and one lucky person will walk away with a decoder.

"I'm so happy for Steven. I've known him since when he was still a boy growing up here.

"He has inspired so many of us in Westbury and the rest of South Africa. From humble beginnings, Steven is now one of the best players in Europe.

"I so wish I could also be at Wembley Stadium tomorrow, but we will be screaming and cheering for him here.

"I know there are many other South Africans who will be celebrating with Steven by watching the game."

The Place has been selected by the Gauteng provincial government as one of the public viewing sites for the Confederations Cup and 2010 World Cup.

Situated in Ruben Street near Rahima Moosa Mother and Child Hospital, the popular joint was used as a pilot project for public viewing during the 2008 Euro Cup.
