Gospel group all set to bring house down

Gospel singer Swazi Dlamini will lead a group of Durban artists who are likely to bring the house down with their sounds at Porter's House, Madadeni, tomorrow.

Gospel singer Swazi Dlamini will lead a group of Durban artists who are likely to bring the house down with their sounds at Porter's House, Madadeni, tomorrow.

The concert, which starts at 6pm, will also feature Tshepo Mngoma, Dlamini's husband, the Porter's House Choir and Songs and Psalm, a new Durban gospel outfit.

"The event, called the Songs and Psalm Worship Experience Concert, will provide an unforgettable musical experience in that part of the world," Dlamini says.

The gospel artist, who refined her singing skills in Joyous Celebration, worked in Johannesburg before moving to Durban.

At present she is a businesswoman who, besides singing, also runs Swazitainment, a music label and an events management company.

"The company has just signed on Songs and Psalms, which is a collaboration between Swazitainment and Shammah Records," Dlamini says.
