ABOUT 42 people are expected to appear in the Alberton and Germiston magistrate's courts today for crimes ranging from illegal gambling to rape, Gauteng police said.

ABOUT 42 people are expected to appear in the Alberton and Germiston magistrate's courts today for crimes ranging from illegal gambling to rape, Gauteng police said.

The suspects were arrested during a search operation between Monday night and Tuesday morning.

Two men were arrested for rape. Others were nabbed for crimes like fraud, possession of a stolen vehicle, illegal gambling, urinating in public and assault.
