THE ON-OFF IBF title eliminator for the mini flyweight belt between Nkosinathi Joyi and Florante Condes is on again.

The IBF announced during the weekend that the fight would take place in South Africa and will be staged by the Branco Sports Production consortium of Branco Milenkovic and Jacob Matlala.

The IBF says that it received a letter from Joyi, the current IBO champion, who is rated third by the IBF, and Condes, who occupies a spot below Joyi, that they had reached an agreement.

"We received a written notification and the contracts indicating that both sides had reached an agreement. The bout is scheduled for June 26 2009 in East London, South Africa", the IBF says.

The promotional rights were to be decided in a purse bid which the IBF has called for June 2 in New York.

"We have cancelled the purse bid scheduled for June 2 2009," the IBF's letter reads.

Milenkovic said the venue would be decided on two factors; first one being that if he wins the purse bid for the IBF welterweight championship between Isaac Hlatswayo and Delvin Rodqriguez on June 2 in New York, and second being the availability of the venue.

"In the event of me being successful with the Hlatswayo-Rodriguez bid, the Joyi-Condes fight will take place in Johannesburg on June 26 on the undercard of the Hlatswayo and Rodriguez fight.

"If I don't win the Hlatswayo-Rodriqgued bid, I would do the Joyi-Condes fight in East London on thesame date," said Milenkovic yesterday.
