The exhibition, currently on, not only boasts experienced local artists but in fact some of the best in the business.
It features works of David Kolowane, Dumisani Mabaso, Colbert Mashile and Kagiso Pat Mautloa.
The four are well-known on the contemporary art scene and have stood out over the past several years.
Through the intrinsic artistic qualities of the print media, their collaborative work explores relationships between image and material.
Koloane is a prominent South African artist, who has worked internationally as an artist and curator. Committed to the cause of art in South Africa and working for social and political equality, he has been actively involved in community and educational affairs.
Soweto-born Mabaso was introduced to art by his father, who was a well-known printer in Soweto. He studied at Rorke's Drift in KwaZulu-Natal.
His exceptional ability as a printmaker is widely acknowledged.
Another interesting artist, Mashile, was born in Bushbuckridge, Limpopo, in 1972.
He is deeply rooted in his community and deals with aspects of traditional practice in his work.
Mautloa, born in Ventersdorp, is an artist who does not require any introduction. He studied at the Leratong Art Centre, Soweto.
In his art he explores the dynamics of the city environment in relation to the people who live and work there.
