The sexual banter around Western Cape Premier Helen Zille's decision to appoint an all-male cabinet is far from over.

Yesterday, Cape Town's political head of safety and security, councillor Jean-Pierre Smith, said Zille, pictured, would not ravage any of them "even if she was paid to do so" because of her lack of sexual appeal.

The ANC Youth League and the Umkhonto weSizwe Military Veterans Association have accused Zille of appointing her "toy boys" as MECs.

Yesterday, MKMVA members again lashed out at Zille after allegedly being denied permission to hand over a memorandum asking her to withdraw her statements that President Jacob Zuma is a "sexist womaniser who put all his wives at risk of HIV".

The city's spokesperson Kylie Hatton said the vets themselves had asked to postpone the march until next Wednesday after the police "raised questions".

Hatton said the vets' application would be discussed by the police tomorrow.
