Siphiwe Tshabalala scooped six awards at Kaizer Chiefs' end of season function last night, while Hlompho Kekana shone at SuperSport United's event.

Tshabalala drove home a brand new car after winning the club's main award of the evening - the player of the season.

He also won the players' player of the season, Chiefs' website player of the season, Amakhosi magazine readers' player of the season, goal of the season and top goalscorer awards.

Thabang Rooi was named the most improved player .

Kekana was named United's player of the season and players' player of the season. Masibusane Zongo was voted prospect of the season.

Tsietsi Mahoa won the most consistent, dedicated and hard-working player award.

The coach's award was presented to club captain Bongani Khumalo, while Liberian Anthony Laffor got the top goalscorer award.

Coach Gavin Hunt left with the chairman's award.

Bloemfontein Celtic named Thabo Nthethe their player of the season, with Mark Mayambela the players' player of the season.
