Alfamega was last week at the centre of allegations he passed information to the US Drug Enforcement Administration during the investigation of a heroin trafficker.
The reports were published by the Smoking Gun and have now led TI - currently serving a prison term over weapons charges - to ditch his protege from his music label.
TI insisted he is disappointed that Alfamega did not tell him about his background.
