After the unceremonious departure of coach Muhsin Ertugral, Kaizer Chiefs have started with preparations for the 2009-2010 soccer season.

Serbian Ramomir Dujkovic, who guided Ghana's Black Stars during the 2006 World Cup in Germany, looks set to move to the Taung village in Naturena.

Gavin Hunt, coach of SuperSport United, who retained the championship at the weekend, has also been linked with Chiefs but all parties have denied it.

Ertugral left the club on Friday after a meeting with chairman Kaizer Motaung and is tipped to rejoin Ajax Cape Town in the next few days.

Soccer legend Fani Madida was in charge when Chiefs beat Platinum Stars 2-0 at Olen Park on Saturday to end the season with a bang. Siphiwe Tshabalala and David Mathebula scored for Amakhosi, who ended the season third on the log with 50 points, behind Orlando Pirates.

The new coach will be in charge when for the pre-season Vodacom Challenge. Motaung did not want to reveal who will fill the big shoes vacated by Ertugral.

"We still have to talk about the new technical team. We will be announcing the new coach within two weeks," he said.

Ertugral said: "I would like to thank the Motaung family, especially chairman Kaizer Motaung, who is a professional. I will also miss the great supporters of Chiefs."
