Cape Town fans of Joyous Celebration should brace themselves for a Joyous Journey on Saturday.

Re-energised by their triumph at the South African Music Awards at Sun City at the weekend Joyous Celebration is in the Mother City.

Word from the producers is that Old Mutual Joyous Celebration is gearing up to give for a spectacular show at Grand West Casino where the gospel sensation will perform its brand new 13th double disc set.

The event follows an Easter success at the State Theatre in Pretoria, which was described in glowing terms by performance art critics.

Jabu Hlongwane, one of the founding members of Joyous Celebration, has promised audiences an amazing show which will have the fans singing and dancing as in previous years.

Western Cape supporters of the group can also catch a sneak preview of the show at the Vanguard Shopping Centre this afternoon at 2pm and at Mutual Park tomorrow at 2pm.

They should also tune in to SABC1 for a "Life Celebration" competition to win tickets.

This is one-night only spectacular which not to be missed.
