Artists for Zuma big day

The ceremony is expected to be a serious business on Saturday at the Union Buildings in Pretoria when President-elect Jacob Zuma is sworn in.

But it will also be party time as an impressive line-up of artists has been put together.

The selected artists reflect the young and the old, traditional and new, young hip sounds, meaning that everyone's taste will be catered for.

Hector Sibongiseni Mthokozisi Langa will be the event's imbongi and other artists include the Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra, Soweto Gospel Choir, Southern Lawns for the public, Nothembi Mkhwebane, Mfolosha Nkwe with Thabeng-Dinaka tsa Bapedi, Setapa Setswana Dance Mosekaphofu, Mkhonto Dancers, Navara - Indian Dancers, Khoisan Dance and music by Ixhange group, Tu Nokwe, Karen Zoid, The Parlotones and Jozi.

Other artists are Sello Galane, Gang of Instrumentals and DJ Oskido.
