Kaizer Chiefs coach Muhsin Ertugral admitted for the first time yesterday that he was clueless about his future in Naturena.
The under-pressure mentor revealed to Sowetan that he was still to be engaged in talks by the club management regarding a new contract.
His contract at Chiefs expires at the end of the season and normally a club would have started negotiations for a new contract with its coach.
But Chiefs' general manager Bobby Motaung said yesterday they did not specify time to discus a new contract of a coach during the course of the season.
Said Ertugral: "I thought talks over a new contract would be on now but nothing is happening. I think maybe they have other plans for a new season. I don't know."
The Turk, however, said he will have other plans for a new season if Chiefs decided not to retain him.
He confirmed interests from clubs in Greece and United Arab Emirates, but would not reveal the names of these clubs.
"There are people who are handling my affairs and they will brief me about the developments. I'm angry with some media reports who link me with a move to my former team Ajax Cape Town. They also speculate about me joining Platinum Stars. This is nonsense and I don't know why these people are lying to the nation.
"When these journalists don't have stories to write they sit at home and think about a Hollywood movie they once watched featuring a soccer coach. They then think about writing a story and came up with a way to involve Muhsin Ertugral. This is not one."
Asked if he would remain in the country if he got a decent offer, Muhsin said: "I would because I just love South Africa".
The Urban Warriors also scoffed at the reports that their beleaguered coach Craig Rosslee has resigned in Ikamva.
"Craig still has two seasons left in his contract he signed last year. He has not resigned and he is at training with the players as I'm talking to you now," said spokesperson Thabiso "Shooz" Mekuto yesterday.
"I also what to state it categorically clear that we have not discussed anything with Muhsin to rejoin us.
We will not fire our coach if Muhsin is not staying at Chiefs to accommodate him. We have principles at Ajax," Mekuto told Sowetan yesterday.
Ajax Cape Town's prized players, forward Mabhuti Khenyeza and Brazilian defender Eduardo Ferreira, said they are staying put at the club.
