Kenyan fighter, Gouglass "Al Capone" Otieno has been confirmed as the opponent for Isaac "Golden Boy" Chilembe, pictured, for the WBO Africa light heavyweight title.

This fight will be presented by Golden Gloves at Graceland Casino in Secunda, Mpumalanga, on June 6.

Chilembe, 21, from Malawi, made his debut here in 2005 under Nick Durandt. They have parted ways and Chilembe will have his first fight under new mentor Colin Nathan.

Fight publicist, Terry Pettifer, said Otieno, who hails from Nairobi, was a dazzling boxer who has earned a fine reputation over the past four years.

"This guy is a comer, and at 27 he is only reaching his peak", warned Peffiter.

Otieno's defeat was in December last year when he challenged Nathan Cleverly for the British Empire light heavyweight crown. "He was halted in the fourth round". he said. Otieno's fight record is 19 wins (nine knockouts) and two losses.

Golden Gloves' Rodney Berman, said Otieno is exactly the type of opponent Chilembe needs. But Berman has faith in Chilembe whom he described as a brilliant prospect.

"Isaac will certainly need to underline his effectiveness as a light heavyweight, after having had most of his previous outings in the super middleweight," said Berman. Chilembe has 12 wins (eight on knockouts) against one defeat. Grant "Fireball" Fourie, who is undefeated after eight fights- six stoppages - will fight as yet an unidentified boxer.
