Montecasino Mall has become one of Joburg's premier destinations for those in search of fun and entertainment.
With the redesign of the mall's branding, it looks like its spirit of merriment will continue to grow. The mall's logo has also changed from "Life is Beautiful" to "We've got it".
A feature of the revamped image of the mall is the Monte Casino Cares Logo. It represents the mall adoption of the Oasis Haven of Love Foundation - a home for children who have been infected and affected by HIV-Aids.
Designed by Jodi Kroll, the logo has a youthful design that will remind visitors of the more philanthropic side of the mall that sadly gets easily forgotten.
Monte Casino is also involved with guide dogs. For the past nine years, it has hosted the much loved Winter Ball In Aid of South African Guide Dogs Association for the Blind. The annual ball's aim is to support Saga in its endeavor to train dogs to be trustworthy guide dogs for disabled people. A staggering R400000 was raised at last year's ball. This year's ball - to increase awareness about the declining state of the environment - will be held on June 11. Tickets will cost R800 per person. Revlon will launch two new fragrances at the ball.
