SABC ignores complaints

Yesterday, on SAfm's After Eight Debate, Jeff Radebe who was transport minister in the last administration, said the ANC had brought freedom to South Africans.

At 8.20am I sent an SMS telling host Tim Modise not to let Radebe get away with the lie because the PAC and the black consciousness movement had also contributed to freedom.

My SMS, like the ones I sent previously , was not read to listeners after the 8.30 news. The show ended without my SMS being read. So, there is censorship on Modise's show just like there is on Morning Live on SABC2 .

I don't know what happens to the SMSes before Modise reads them, but if they go directly to him, then he is not interested to stop the lie that the ANC is the only organisation that fought for freedom.

If Modise is not responsible for censoring my SMSes, what is he going to do or what must he do now that he knows that my SMSes are being censored?

I am going to report this matter to Icasa. There are incorrigible characters at the SABC because this is not the first time I have lodged a complaint about the broadcaster's bias, yet those responsible do not even have the decency to respond to my complaints or at least acknowledge receipt of my e-mails.
