As an ANC supporter I was disappointed when I saw placards carried by members of the ruling party at the Ellis-Park rally and in the Sunday papers respectively, to the effect that party president Jacob Zuma is like Jesus Christ.
I am writing this knowing that I am not perfect either, but I find it unacceptable, with due respect to the ANC leader, that Zuma is like Jesus Christ.
No one will ever be like Christ, come rain or shine.
My word of advice is for us to refrain from elevating personalities because we might regret it in the end.
And for your information, the only just government comes from Christ himself.
