Matter of time

Gauteng youth radio station presenter Sbu Leope must wish he lived in Madagascar. It appears that they appreciate DJs' political persuasions better in that Indian Ocean state than they do here.

The man who goes by the name DJ Sbu has been suspended by YFM for what the station saw as his being too close to the ANC president Jacob Zuma during the party's election rally on Sunday.

Meanwhile, in Madagascar, 34-year-old former disc jockey Andry Rajoelina is in power after a military coup helped install him.

Maybe Sbu might one day follow in Rajoelina's footsteps and become president. And extract his revenge on those who don't appreciate him enough.
