Buyisiwe (not her real name) waited four years for justice but broke down in the Gauteng south high court when she finally came face-to-face with the men accused of raping her.

Buyisiwe, 32, from Tembisa, told the court yesterday how a man called Tsepo broke into her friend's rented room "and raped me at gunpoint", before breaking into tears.

The court had to adjourn to allow her to recover. When the court resumed, she complained about a headache but insisted on continuing with her testimony.

She said after Tsepo had finished raping her, he took her outside where there were three other men whom she later identified as accused Sello Mohlala, Bongani Nhlapho and Moeketsi Mphuthi, all from Tembisa.

"I was forced back into the room at gunpoint and raped again," she said.

The other accused are Mojalefa Seleka, Thabiso Thukwane and Kabelo Mwale. The trial continues tomorrow.
