South winners, the Sharks, will host the Golden Lions, who secured fourth place ahead of the Pumas in the North section with a 59-26 victory over the Valke in Johannesburg on Saturday.

The Pumas lost out on the last-eight spot after going down 24-37 to the Blue Bulls in Witbank also on Saturday.

The Blue Bulls secured themselves a home quarter-final against Western Province while the Free State will clash against the GWK Griquas in Kimberley.

The Griquas ended up second in the North section after a one-sided 87-31 annihilation of the Griffons on Saturday.

The SWD Eagles beat the Border Bulldogs 20-13 in their final league match to finish second in the South section and earn a home tie against the Platinum Leopards in George.

The final match of the weekend saw the Boland Cavaliers beat the Mighty Elephants 34-8 in Humansdorp on Saturday.
